If this train runs me right...

As I have mentioned before, Jameson and I have been working on a show in Grand Rapids, called Woody Guthrie's American Song. Jameson has been to all rehearsals, and has heard many songs over and over again (and over and over). He's never really sung any of the songs from the show out loud... until now. Last night in the tub, he started singing 900 Miles; specifically 'And if this train runs me right / I'll be home Saturday night'. In tune. On pitch.

I should mention that Jameson is not really an athlete. Although he's agile, he's a bit clumsy, and dodges balls when thrown at him. But he can sing, just like his Papa Grand, his Nana Grand, his mommy, and his Aunt Amy. In tune. On pitch. Is he destined for Drama Club and band? Don't know, and don't really care...

I wish you all could have been in the bathroom for the performance. I even offered a little harmony. It was a beautiful thing.
