Coloring in the Lines

Nana is completely impressed by the pure genius of Hadley Jane Trudeau. Not only does she use words like "stupendous", but also colors in the lines. Really. She's only 2 years old (just), and colors in the lines. Amelia never colored in the lines, until she was much older. Jameson doesn't even try to stay in the lines. When I asked him why, he said, "because I don't have to." Well said.

Art teachers all over the world will tell you to embrace your child's coloring, no matter where it is, because it's an expression of their unique personalities. Hadley is composed and careful, Amelia is carefree and creative, and Jameson is wild and uninhibited. Just like Nana and Papa's three daughters, their current three grandchildren are as different as night and day.
