In the grand scheme of things, aren't we always just flying kites? We are so busy trying to keep our kites in the air, that we don't usually have time to stop and see the sun through them, or the beauty of our kites soaring above the trees. Except for these three...


Nana Grand would have loved this picture; loved to see Hadley's concentration, Ellery's interest, and Brian's joy. It's exactly the type of picture that she cherished. Maybe Nana was flying kites that day as well.

Along with the kites, our lives have been flying by as well. Ellery is now a year old, and ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. I was delighted to witness her recent passion for cake.



I consider her demolition of her birthday cake to be nothing short of impressive.
