Good Friends

Everyone needs a good friend, right? Like Jameson needs our neighbor, Rory, to enjoy the sprinkler on a hot summer day.


Who else but a good friend can bring out the joy in you; bring out the ability to leave all pretences aside and just...be.


Of course, good friends come in all shapes and sizes, and can comfort you like no other.


Oh, to have a friendship like my sweet boy and his kitten. To be able to sleep peacefully and secure in the knowledge that nothing will change overnight, but only get better with time. That, truly, is God's most precious gift.
