Spring Break

Jameson and I had an awesome time over Spring Break, even though we were both a little sickly. We really enjoyed being together, for the most part, and did a lot of fun things. It ended up being a beautiful week, so we were outside a lot. Here are some pictures of our trip with Nana to the Frederick Meijer Gardens...

Jameson and I also took Amelia with us to "Kid Fest '09" at the DeltaPlex. Imagine a huge arena filled with kids, bounce houses, snacks, climbing walls, and activities; then imagine the weary parents at the end of the day! It was a blast, however, to watch the two of them enjoy the day. The highlight for Jamo was getting an airbrushed tattoo, and playing Guitar Hero with Amelia.

He can't reach the buttons on the "guitar", but boy, can that kid rock! Jameson and I were at the church last Saturday to work a little, and our friend Kevin was playing the drums with his friend on guitar. They were playing some hard rock, which Jamo and I LOVE! When I asked Jamo what he thought of the music, he said, "It sure was rocking!" He has also recently commented that Kevin is a "sweet drummer". Jameson is definitely HARD CORE. And he's only four.

The highlight of Spring Break, for me, was getting to spend such quality conversation time with Jameson. We talked a lot about the meaning of Easter, and what the day means to us. Jameson is definitly growing up to love Jesus, and was so happy to know that He had risen for us!
