We hear the Christmas angels...

First, the good stuff. The Christmas morning pictures. Jameson received his first REAL tool set, complete with rainbow suspenders, and in a definite bout of madness, Santa gave him a skateboard. Hadley and Amelia will be here in a couple of days, so we'll have plenty more pictures to see soon.

OK, so it's the birthday of Jesus, and the day when Santa's presents are opened. Which do you celebrate more with a 3 year old child? Jameson knows all about Mary, Joseph, and Jesus, but still believes in Santa; especially when Santa brings him the skateboard he's been pining for all year. I figure that as long as Jameson believes in Christmas, it's OK to believe in both Jesus and Santa at the same time... and get one great present.

Jameson has been very interested in Jesus for awhile now, and believes that our dog Beauregard, and my Grandpa are in Heaven with Jesus. It's a wonderful thought, isn't it? Jamo also makes snow angels every chance he gets, and knows that there are angels among us every day. We all hear the Christmas angels at church. Those angels are named Jill, Margaret, Jim, Carl, Stacy, and Steve. The FishHeadz. Sadly, Christmas Eve services were cancelled last night, due to a power outage, but all the angels were there - ready and willing to share Jesus' light with the congregation. Jameson has been listening to these special angels since he was a baby, and knows that they don't sing for themselves, they sing for him. And for God. I wish that you all hear Christmas angels this day, and you share their song with someone you love.

Merry Christmas, and Happy Birthday!

You forgot to mention "Erin" in the list of angels! You have been blessed with an incredible voice...the voice of an angel!

Great page, Erin! I should have known your dad would have given him a tool set! Cracks me up.

Thanks for sharing. The Merritts were always my second family growing up, and even though I don't see you guys except once in a blue moon, you still have a huge place in my heart!
