It's beginning to look a lot like...Halloween?

I'm not sure what Amelia is going to be for Halloween, but obviously Hadley is going to be a duck. Jameson has chosen to be a skeleton this year, and also wants to be a skeleton "when he grows up".

It occurs to me that Halloween is the start of a long holiday season for the Merritt Grands. They've got the candy at the end of October, the turkey at the end of November, and then, the biggie - Santa at the end of December. Also on the horizon, Amelia's 8th birthday, and Hadley's 2nd birthday.

Amelia seems to be a little "over" the holidays. She's too big to get excited about things like that. However, Jameson and Hadley are the perfect ages for the special days to come. I hope that we can all survive this busy time of year!
