Jameson and Nana spent the day at the zoo today - it was so much fun! There were zebras, kangaroos, pygmy goats, and lots of birds. The best part of Binder Park Zoo, in Battle Creek, MI, is that you can actually feed the giraffes! Just above is a picture of Jamo and Nana indulging a reticulated giraffe in some biscuits.
After the zoo the Three Musketeers (Jameson, Nana, and Erin) ended up at Lowe's for some deck stain. We overheard a woman talking about a dream she had the night before. In the dream the woman was working for Michelle Obama (!), and they were friends. It sparked some conversation about what a historic time it is for America, that not only is there an African American man in the race for President (and First Lady), but there is also a woman on the ticket for Vice President. The Merritt Grands have the potential to live in a time when America is changing for the better!

Starwars! Jameson would love the Cove Compound! We have quite the collection going. I always see the LittleMan with Grandpa. How he enjoys Noah's this year!
